People Solutions are currently recruiting for Freezer Warehouse Operatives to join our well-established client based in Nuneaton, Warwickshire.

This position is ideal for applicants who have previously worked as a Warehouse Operative, Freezer Warehouse Operative, Picker Packer, Order Picker, Warehouse Assistant or Cold Storage Operative.

Important: This role involves working in freezer temperatures of -21°C. Appropriate uniform and PPE are provided, along with designated warm-up breaks and heated rest areas.

Shifts

• Four on, four off – Days: 07:00–19:00
• Four on, four off – Nights: 19:00–07:00

Rates of Pay

• Days: £13.56 per hour
• Nights: £15.85 per hour
• Overtime available
• Christmas attendance bonus

Day-to-Day Duties

As a Freezer Warehouse Operative, your duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Picking frozen food items using voice-pick technology in temperatures of -21°C
• Operating material handling equipment (MHE), including Reach and Counterbalance FLT, where trained and authorised
• Moving, sorting and organising stock within the warehouse
• Wrapping and securing completed pallets ready for dispatch
• Following health and safety procedures at all times
• Carrying out additional warehouse duties as required

Essential Skills

To be successful as a Freezer Warehouse Operative, you will need:

• Previous experience working as a Warehouse Operative
• Previous order picking experience
• Good level of spoken and written English
• Reliable attitude and ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness and ability to work in freezer conditions of -21°C
• Ability to work the advertised shift patterns

Desirable Experience

• Previous experience in a freezer or chilled warehouse environment
• Experience working four-on/four-off shifts or night shifts
• Previous experience using voice-pick technology
• Experience operating Reach or Counterbalance FLT equipment

Training Provided

• Industry-related training provided
• Ongoing support throughout your assignment
