Position: 1 x Slinger Signaller Rate: £24.00 per hour (CIS) Location: IP17 1UT Start Date: 02/11/26 Job Overview We are currently looking for an experienced Slinger Signaller to join our team on a construction project. The successful candidate must hold a valid CPCS card and have experience assisting with lifting operations on construction sites. Key Responsibilities * Safely sling and secure loads ready for lifting operations. * Direct crane operators using recognised hand signals and communication systems. * Ensure loads are correctly attached, balanced and secure before lifting. * Check lifting accessories and equipment before use, reporting any defects. * Maintain safe working distances and ensure exclusion zones are observed. * Work closely with crane operators, lift supervisors and site management. * Follow lifting plans, risk assessments and method statements. * Ensure all lifting activities are carried out in accordance with site health and safety procedures. * Stop lifting operations if unsafe conditions arise. Essential Requirements * Valid CPCS Slinger Signaller card – essential. * Previous experience in a construction site environment. * Good understanding of lifting operations and safe load handling. * Knowledge of site health and safety procedures. * Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team. * Full PPE and a strong commitment to safe working practices
