This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in a successful store, supporting the Store Manager in driving sales, developing the team and delivering an exceptional customer journey. Offering a salary of up to £32,000, this role is perfect for a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced retail environment. The Opportunity As Assistant Manager, you'll work closely with the Store Manager to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the store. You'll lead by example on the shop floor, inspire your team and contribute to achieving commercial and operational goals. Key Responsibilities Support the Store Manager in delivering strong sales results and KPI performance. Lead, motivate and coach team members to maximise engagement and productivity. Provide an exceptional customer experience, ensuring service standards are consistently exceeded. Take responsibility for the store in the absence of the Store Manager. Monitor store performance and identify opportunities to improve sales and operational efficiency. Maintain high standards of merchandising, presentation and store compliance. Assist with stock management, rota planning and resource allocation. Foster a positive and collaborative team culture focused on performance and development. About You Previous experience in an Assistant Manager, Supervisor or Team Leader position within retail. Commercially aware with a strong understanding of sales-driving activities. Passionate about delivering outstanding customer service. Confident leading a team and developing colleagues through coaching and support. Organised, proactive and able to prioritise effectively in a busy environment. Able to make decisions and take ownership when managing the store. Energetic, positive and driven to achieve results.
