Employment Solicitor/Legal Executive

3+ PQE | Exeter, Devon | Hybrid Working | Part-Time

A well-established law firm in Exeter is looking to recruit an Employment Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive to join its growing Employment Law team.

You’ll advise both employers and employees on a varied mix of contentious and non-contentious employment matters, with plenty of client contact and scope to develop your career.

Experienced Litigation Solicitors with some employment experience who are looking to specialise are also encouraged to apply.

The Role

Your work is likely to include:

• Employment contracts and service agreements
• Settlement agreements
• Employment Tribunal claims
• Unfair dismissal and discrimination
• Grievance and disciplinary matters
• Redundancy and restructuring
• TUPE and employment aspects of corporate transactions
• Restrictive covenants and post-termination restrictions
• HR policies and procedures
• Employment advice to directors and senior executives

You’ll also have the opportunity to develop client relationships and contribute to business development as the team continues to grow.

About You

You’ll be a qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with at least 3 years' PQE and experience across a broad range of Employment Law matters.

The firm is also open to experienced Civil or Commercial Litigators with relevant employment experience who are keen to develop a specialist Employment Law practice.
