Work across both accounts and audit in a friendly team with a loyal client base. A leading firm of Chartered Accountants in Oswestry is looking for an ACA or ACCA qualified or part qualified Accounts and Audit Senior.

What’s the day to day of the role:

• Preparing and reviewing accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
• Running audit assignments from planning through to sign off
• Fielding client queries and acting as a dependable contact
• Supporting junior staff across both accounts and audit work
• Helping managers and partners with the more technical assignments

Required skills and qualifications:

• ACA or ACCA qualified or part qualified, with experience across accounts and audit in practice
• At least three years’ experience within a UK Practice environment
• A track record preparing accounts and leading audits for a range of client types
• Working knowledge of UK auditing standards and software such as Xero or Sage
• Professional with clients, well organised, and keen to progress in practice
