We’re looking for a CNC Lathe Operator / Setter to join a busy manufacturing team in Bridgwater.
This is a great opportunity for someone with genuine CNC turning experience who can operate machines confidently and carry out basic setting work.
About the Role • Operate CNC lathes across multiple machines • Change programs, tools and adjust offsets • Carry out basic setting and first-off checks • Work across two machines simultaneously • Read technical drawings and check dimensions • Maintain quality and production standards • Progress onto more complex work with training
What We’re Looking For • Hands-on CNC turning experience – essential • Able to operate CNC machinery independently • Some setting experience / understanding of offsets and tooling • Fanuc experience preferred, but other controls such as Mazak or Heidenhain considered • Comfortable working across multiple machines • Positive attitude, reliability and willingness to learn • Strong team player with a desire to progress
