Job title: Transport Administrator

Location: Skelmersdale

Hours: Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm.

Salary: £477 per week, paid weekly!

We are seeking a reliable and organised Administrator to join a busy Transport team. This role is ideal for someone with solid administration skills who wants the possibility of gaining hands-on transport experience while working alongside established transport professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out basic administration duties including filing, data entry and document management
• Answer incoming phone calls professionally and handle enquiries or direct calls to the appropriate team member
• Provide day-to-day support to the transport team, working under the guidance of the Senior Transport Planner and Operations Manager
• Maintain accurate records and update spreadsheets and databases as required
• Assist with scheduling and logistics tasks as needed, offering administrative support to operations staff

Essential skills and experience

• Proven experience in general administration and office duties
• Comfortable answering phones and dealing with customers or colleagues verbally and by email
• Experience using MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Good attention to detail, time management and the ability to prioritise tasks
• Strong communication skills and a proactive, team-oriented approach
