You will be joining a welcoming and supportive specialist education setting in Coventry that provides tailored support to young people with a variety of additional needs.You will work alongside an experienced team committed to creating a positive, inclusive and supportive learning environment.

Your new role

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will support students with their learning and development throughout the day.
Your role will include:

• Providing 1:1 and small-group support
• Supporting students during lessons and activities
• Encouraging engagement and participation
• Supporting students with a range of additional needs
• Promoting confidence and independence
• Working closely with teachers and other support staff

Hours: 8:30am - 4:30pm, Monday to FridayStart date: 02/11/2026Full-time preferred, with part-time options also available.

What you'll need to succeed

• A genuine passion for supporting young people with SEN
• A patient, caring and positive approach
• Reliability and good communication skills
• Experience within SEN, education, care or support work
• A willingness to learn and work as part of a supportive team

You'll need to register with Hays Education before starting, and we'll support you throughout the registration and necessary compliance checks.
