Part-Time Administrator – Newton Abbot

The Supply Register are currently recruiting for a Part-Time Administrator to work within a school in Newton Abbot, starting as soon as possible.

The Role:

• Hours: 12:00pm – 4:00pm

• Monday to Friday

• 20 hours per week

• Immediate start

• Part-time, temporary opportunity

The successful candidate will have a strong administration background and excellent organisational and communication skills. Previous experience working within a school environment is desirable but not essential.

The role will involve providing general administrative support within the school office and assisting with the smooth day-to-day running of the administration function.

• Previous experience in an administrative role

• Strong organisational and time-management skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Confident dealing with staff, parents, pupils and visitors

• Professional, reliable and approachable

• Previous school experience is desirable but not essential

Safeguarding & Compliance Requirements:

As the role is based within a school, all candidates must meet our safeguarding and compliance requirements:

• Minimum of 2 employer references covering the previous 24 months

• If you have not previously worked with children, 3 references will be required

• Any employment gaps must be supported by a professional character reference

• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service preferred due to the immediate start

• Candidates without an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service must be willing to obtain a new DBS

• Right to Work documentation

• Two proofs of address

• Proof of National Insurance

• Proof of any name changes, where applicable

• Overseas Police Check where required

• Completion of all mandatory online training courses provided by The Supply Register
