Flexible Remote Working (1 day in office)

A fantastic opportunity for a Junior Employment Solicitor to join a growing employment law practice, offering a predominantly remote working model, a supportive team environment and genuine scope for long term career development.

The Role
Working closely with the wider employment team, you will assist with a varied caseload of employment law matters, supporting clients with clear, practical legal advice while continuing to develop your technical expertise.
Responsibilities will include:
  • Advising and assisting clients on a range of employment law matters.
  • Drafting and reviewing employment contracts, settlement agreements, policies and other legal documentation.
  • Supporting contentious employment matters, including claims and tribunal proceedings where appropriate.
  • Undertaking legal research and preparing case documentation.
  • Managing client communications and ensuring a high standard of service throughout each matter.
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues to deliver effective, commercially focused advice.
The Ideal Candidate
  • A newly qualified or junior Solicitor with a genuine interest in employment law.
  • Experience gained within an employment law team, ideally including exposure to both contentious and non-contentious matters.
  • Strong drafting, communication and client care skills.
  • A proactive approach, with the ability to manage competing priorities and work independently.
  • Someone keen to develop their expertise within a supportive and ambitious practice.
The Opportunity
  • Hybrid working: Just one day per week in the Maidenhead office, with the remainder worked remotely from anywhere in the UK.
  • Working hours: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.
  • Career development: The opportunity to build your experience within a specialist employment law practice.
  • Supportive culture: A collaborative working environment with an emphasis on professional development.
  • Additional benefits: Private healthcare, dental cover and WPA benefits following probation, alongside quarterly team socials.
This is an opportunity for an Employment Solicitor looking for a role that combines quality employment law work with genuine flexibility, a supportive environment and the opportunity to develop their career.
