Due Diligence Researcher

Location: Twickenham

Salary: £35,000

Contract: 6-month temporary booking, with the potential to become permanent

Are you naturally curious, highly analytical and enjoy digging deeper to uncover the facts? Do you have excellent research and report-writing skills, with a keen eye for detail?

We’re looking for a Due Diligence Researcher for an initial 6-month temporary booking, with the potential for the role to become permanent. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a background in research, analysis or investigation who enjoys working with complex information and producing clear, well-structured reports.

The Role

• Conduct detailed research into individuals, companies and their business interests using global databases and open-source information.
• Verify information, investigate backgrounds and identify potential risks, inconsistencies and red flags.
• Analyse information from multiple sources to establish facts, draw conclusions and identify further areas for investigation.
• Collate findings and supporting evidence into clear, accurate and well-structured reports.
• Consider relevant political, financial, social and environmental factors when assessing information.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and international research teams to obtain relevant information.
• Manage your own workload, prioritise tasks and ensure deadlines are met.

About You

• Experience in research, analysis, investigations or a similar role, or fluency in Turkish, Arabic or Mandarin.
• Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to produce clear, logical and detailed reports.
• Outstanding attention to detail and a methodical approach to gathering and assessing information.
• A naturally inquisitive mindset, with the confidence to question information, use your initiative and dig deeper to establish the facts.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities independently.

Desirable: An interest in international politics, finance, crime, security or global affairs. Arabic or Mandarin language skills would be a particular advantage.
