About the Opportunity Recruit UK is recruiting on behalf of an established and growing financial planning firm in Harpenden, Hertfordshire, seeking an experienced Independent Financial Adviser to join its team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Financial Adviser looking to focus on delivering high-quality financial advice without the pressure of building a client bank from scratch.
The successful candidate will benefit from an existing client portfolio, a consistent flow of new leads, dedicated paraplanning and administration support, and an attractive uncapped bonus structure.
Key Responsibilities - Provide independent financial advice covering pensions, investments, protection and retirement planning.
- Manage and develop relationships with an established portfolio of clients.
- Conduct client meetings, financial reviews and fact-finding appointments.
- Convert company-generated leads into long-term client relationships.
- Identify opportunities to grow existing client relationships and generate additional business.
- Ensure all advice complies with FCA regulations and Consumer Duty requirements.
- Work closely with dedicated paraplanning and administration teams.
Requirements - Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning or equivalent.
- Previous experience working as a Financial Adviser or Independent Financial Adviser.
- Strong knowledge of pensions, investments and financial planning.
- Excellent client relationship management and communication skills.
- Ability to manage an existing client portfolio and develop new business opportunities.
- A client-focused approach with a commitment to delivering high-quality independent advice.
An existing client bank is not required, as clients and leads will be provided.
Salary & Benefits - Salary: £50,000 to £60,000 per annum DOE, with an ideal range of £50,000 to £55,000.
- Uncapped bonus: 25% of fees generated above validation.
- Bonus validation: Starting at 1.2x annual salary, with the final structure to be confirmed.
