Our client, a leading entity in the Defence & Security sector, is looking to hire a Principal Engineer - Systems Engineering (Requirements & Acceptance) on a contract basis. Key Responsibilities: Facilitate the maturation of System Requirements with senior stakeholders Work independently or as part of a small team Leverage deep and broad knowledge in a discipline area Co-ordinate with stakeholders to resolve findings, technical queries, and capture proposed changes Participate in requirement focus and working groups with multiple stakeholders Engage and manage senior stakeholders, resolving technical conflicts effectively Validate assumptions, engineering data, analysis methodologies, and interpretation of results Liaise with both internal and external stakeholders ensuring their needs are considered and incorporated where appropriate Job Requirements: Experience with DOORS Classic is essential Experience within a maritime environment is preferred Ability to engage effectively with senior stakeholders Understanding of safety, health, and environment (SHE) standards Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Strong organisational and team coordination abilities Safety: The role holder is responsible for taking reasonable care of their own health and safety, maintaining high standards for safety, health, and environment (SHE) within the organisation.
