Location: St Albans, Hertfordshire

Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:30pm

The Opportunity

Recruit UK is working with an established and growing wealth management firm in St Albans that is looking to recruit an experienced Financial Planner to join its team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Financial Adviser looking to develop their career within a supportive business, benefiting from an existing client portfolio, company-generated leads and dedicated paraplanning support.

The successful candidate will manage clients transitioning from existing advisers and recent acquisitions, while developing new business opportunities and building long-term client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and develop an existing portfolio of clients.
• Deliver financial advice across pensions, investments and protection.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Generate new business through company-provided leads, referrals and marketing initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to develop existing client relationships.
• Work closely with paraplanners and administrators to deliver a high-quality service.
• Maintain accurate client records and ensure regulatory compliance.

Requirements

• Minimum Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning or equivalent.
• Previous experience as a Financial Adviser or Financial Planner.
• Strong knowledge of pensions, investments and protection.
• Excellent communication and client relationship management skills.
• Ability to identify and develop new business opportunities.
• Professional, proactive and client-focused approach.
