Our client is seeking a manufacturing Line Leader for their site in Rochester. The purpose of this role is to provide day to day leadership and technical support on the production line, acting as the most senior person on the line and supporting the supervisor in achieving production, quality, safety and efficiency targets. *Lead day to day operations of the production line, ensuring production targets are achieve within agreed timescales. *Ensure machinery and equipment are set up correctly, safely and in accordance with the required specifications. *Monitor product, processes, equipment and documentation throughout the shift to ensure accuracy and compliance. Manage and Team leadership 1. Provide on the job coaching, guidance and support to operators 2. Ensure employees are appropriately trained. 3.support the supervisor with day to day people management and cover the supervisor during periods of absence. Quality- ensure all production activities comply with good manufacturing practice and company procedures. Previous Knowledge and experience The manufacturing line lead is expected to have: *previous experience within a manufacturing or production environment ideally in a line lead, senior operator, team leader or similar role. 8.30am-5pm Monday to Friday
