Bolton | £128.70 basic daily rate | Earn up to £153.70 per day with Christmas and performance bonuses

Looking for an active role, weekly pay and a supportive team? Join DAC Couriers Ltd, delivering parcels in and around Bolton for one of the world’s largest online retailers.

We provide paid training, cover your delivery fuel and insurance costs, and supply your delivery device and uniform. Previous delivery experience is welcome, but not essential.

YOUR PAY

• Standard daily rate: £128.70 excluding VAT.

• Christmas uplift: An additional £8 per qualifying day from 1 November to 26 December inclusive, subject to eligibility criteria.

• Performance bonuses: £5–£17 per day when the relevant criteria are met.

• Maximum daily earnings during the Christmas period: £153.70 excluding VAT, including both the Christmas uplift and maximum performance bonus.

• Weekly payments, two weeks in arrears.

VAT is payable in addition where applicable. These are self-employed earnings before tax and any applicable expenses.

THE ROLE

Routes start at approximately midday and last around nine hours. You’ll collect your parcels from the delivery station, complete your vehicle checks and deliver safely, providing friendly customer service along the way.

This is an active, fast-paced role involving getting in and out of a van and handling parcels weighing up to 23kg.

As a self-employed contractor, you tell us your availability and agree your working days with us. Some weekend availability is required. Once days are agreed, we ask that you honour those commitments.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

• Be aged 21 or over for insurance purposes.

• A valid UK driving licence held for at least 12 months.

• No more than six penalty points, with no CD, DD, DR, IN, MS, UT or TT endorsements.

• Eligibility to work in the UK.

• A UTR number, or willingness to apply for one.

• The ability to pass a DBS check.

• Confidence driving a Transit-sized van and using a delivery app.

• Good spoken and written English.

• Your own transport to and from the delivery station.

• A reliable approach, good customer service skills and the ability to manage an active delivery day.

NEW TO DELIVERY WORK?

You don’t need previous courier experience. We’ll provide training to help you understand the delivery process and get familiar with the app.
