About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and confident Service Advisor to become the face of our busy garage. This is a key front-of-house position where you will take ownership of the customer journey from initial booking through to vehicle handover, helping to deliver an exceptional customer experience while supporting the smooth running of the workshop.

This role is ideal for someone with previous experience in a garage environment, strong technical knowledge of vehicle parts, and the confidence to identify opportunities to upsell services and products that genuinely benefit customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing customer bookings and workshop scheduling.
• Welcoming customers and handling front-of-house enquiries.
• Liaising between customers and technicians throughout the repair process.
• Providing updates on vehicle progress and recommended work.
• Identifying and confidently upselling additional repairs, services, and parts where appropriate.
• Ordering and sourcing vehicle parts accurately and efficiently.
• Producing job cards and maintaining accurate workshop records.
• Preparing estimates and invoices.
• Processing payments and managing vehicle handovers.
• Delivering outstanding customer service at every stage of the customer journey.

About You

• Previous experience as a Service Advisor within a garage is essential.
• Strong technical knowledge of vehicle parts and automotive repairs.
• Confident in sourcing, ordering, and recommending parts.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Able to manage multiple tasks and prioritise workloads effectively.
• Commercially minded, with the ability to identify upselling opportunities.
• Comfortable working independently and taking responsibility for the front-of-house operation.
• Positive attitude and team-focused approach.
• Proficient with workshop management systems and basic computer applications.
