Working primarily within our CNC milling section, you will play a key role in producing high-quality precision components for a variety of demanding engineering sectors. This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on machinist looking to grow with a forward-thinking manufacturing company. Key Responsibilities: * Operate CNC milling machines (experience with 3, 4, or 5-axis machinery is highly desirable) * Read and interpret complex engineering drawings and technical specifications. * Perform rigorous quality checks using standard measuring equipment (verniers, micrometers, gauges) to ensure parts meet tight tolerances. * Monitor tool wear and troubleshoot machining or process issues to minimize downtime. * Maintain a clean, safe, and organized working environment in line with company health and safety standards. Key Requirements: * Proven experience working as a CNC Miller, Setter, or Operator within a precision engineering environment. * Strong familiarity with common controls (such as Fanuc and/or Haas). * Ability to read, understand, and work independently from engineering drawings. * A meticulous approach to quality control and a strong eye for detail. * Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, hands-on work ethic. * Time-served apprenticeship or relevant technical qualification is advantageous.
