Warehouse Team Leader Location: Tingley, West Yorkshire Salary: £32,931 per annum Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, alternating weekly between 06:00–14:00 and 14:00–22:00 The Opportunity We are recruiting for a Warehouse Team Leader to join an established manufacturing business based in Tingley. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced warehouse professional with strong leadership skills who enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will play a key role in coordinating the warehouse team, maintaining high standards and ensuring materials and products move efficiently through the operation. Key Responsibilities * Lead, motivate and support the warehouse team to achieve daily operational targets. * Allocate workloads and coordinate tasks to ensure the smooth running of warehouse activities. * Oversee the movement, handling and storage of materials and finished products. Support stock control, goods-in, goods-out and accurate inventory records. * Work closely with production and other departments to ensure materials are available when required. Monitor productivity, quality and performance, identifying opportunities for improvement. * Maintain high standards of housekeeping, health and safety. Help train and develop team members, promoting a positive and productive working environment. Resolve day-to-day operational issues and escalate concerns where appropriate. About You The ideal candidate will have: * Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment, ideally within manufacturing. * Experience leading, supervising or coordinating a team. * Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workloads. Good communication and problem-solving skills. * A proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to lead by example. A strong commitment to health and safety, quality and operational efficiency.
