This is an opportunity to join a leading global FMCG business, taking responsibility for a strategically important account with a major UK health and beauty retailer.

We're looking for an ambitious, high-performing NAM who wants to build towards Senior NAM level, rather than someone seeking a step back from an already senior commercial position.

The opportunity

You'll join an established national accounts team, reporting directly to a Senior National Account Manager and working alongside experienced commercial, brand and trade marketing colleagues.

You'll have the opportunity to influence customer strategy, drive innovation, develop categories and deliver profitable growth.

What you'll be doing

• Managing relationships with key retail buyers, negotiating commercial agreements and developing mutually beneficial partnerships.
• Developing and executing customer account plans covering product, placement, pricing and promotions.
• Managing commercial forecasts, budgets and P&L performance to deliver sustainable growth.
• Working closely with Brand, Trade Marketing and retail media teams to deliver successful product launches.
• Identifying opportunities to increase market share, develop categories and improve customer performance.
• Building effective relationships across a complex, matrix organisation, influencing stakeholders and delivering results.

What we're looking for

• Currently operating at National Account Manager level within FMCG, with experience managing major UK retail customers.
• Proven experience negotiating directly with retail buyers and taking ownership of commercial relationships.
• Strong financial and analytical capability, including P&L management, forecasting and budget responsibility.
• Evidence of delivering measurable account growth, commercial improvements or successful product launches.
• Confidence operating in a fast-paced environment, taking ownership and delivering outcomes.
• Clear career ambition and the motivation to progress towards Senior NAM level.

This is a hands-on NAM appointment, not a Senior NAM or Account Director position. We're particularly interested in candidates ready for their next stage of commercial development.

Experience that would be advantageous

• Experience managing major UK grocery, pharmacy or high-street retail customers.
• Exposure to healthcare, personal care or Health & Beauty categories.
• Experience in category development, retail media or innovation launches.

Direct healthcare or beauty experience is not essential. Strong UK retail account management capability matters more.

Salary and benefits

• £51,320-£61,120 fixed annual cash package, comprising £45,200-£55,000 basic salary plus a fixed allowance.
• Annual performance bonus of 10% target, with potential to earn up to 15%.
