Junior Finance Analyst

Day rate: £200–£225 Umbrella

Central London - Hybrid 3-4 days in the office

Halliday Marx have exclusively partnered with a global FMCG business to hire a Junior Finance Analyst on an interim basis for 3 months.

Responsibilities

• Support budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes.
• Analyse financial performance against budgets and forecasts, investigating variances and identifying key trends.
• Prepare management reports and provide meaningful financial insights to support decision-making.
• Work closely with budget holders and operational stakeholders to understand business performance.
• Assist with month-end reporting and the production of financial analysis.
• Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts and reporting tools.
• Identify opportunities to improve reporting accuracy, processes and financial visibility.
• Support the wider FP&A team with ad hoc analysis and commercial projects.

Requirements

• Immediately available and able to commit to the full 3-month assignment.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in a commercial / fp&a focused role
• Strong Excel skills and experience working with financial data, budgets and forecasts.
• Outstanding interpersonal skills.
