Portfolio Procurement has been engaged by our leading Bedfordshire based client to recruit for a Buyer. You will be responsible for the end-to-end management of a portfolio of products and the associated supply base. Key responsibilities: Maintain and develop effective supplier relationships Management of internal stakeholders Management of you assigned commodities to ensure continuity of supply Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure availability across your product portfolio Implement opportunities to improve, service, cost, and inventory Provide updates on any supply issues, risk and shortages Skills and Experience: Experience in a Buying role Previous experience in a Manufacturing environment Experience in using ERP/MRP systems Understanding of inventory management principles Strong organisation skills 52396DH INDPRO The Portfolio Group are acting on behalf of our client in recruiting for this position
