We are recruiting on behalf of a reputable, independent family-run garage in Bracknell for an experienced Vehicle Technician. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Vehicle Technician to join a supportive team with stable Monday to Friday working hours and no weekend requirement. Benefits: Salary of up to £38,000 per annum, depending on experience Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 6:00pm No weekend working Fully equipped, modern workshop Supportive independent garage environment Ongoing training and opportunities to develop specialist skills Flexible start date for the right individualDuties: Carry out servicing, maintenance and general vehicle repairs Complete routine work, including oil changes and brake inspections Diagnose faults and undertake complex repairs Replace parts and carry out cambelts, clutches, timing belts and timing chains Ensure all vehicles meet safety and quality standards Work efficiently and maintain accurate records As a Vehicle Technician, adapt to new vehicle technologies and complete further training where requiredRequirements: Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair A minimum of three years’ relevant experience; over five years is preferred Previous experience working as a Vehicle Technician in a garage or workshop environment An MOT licence is advantageous but not essential Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively Strong organisational skills and attention to detail Willingness to develop technical skills and undertake varied repair workThis Vehicle Technician position offers long-term stability, career development and the opportunity to work for an employer that values its technicians.
