Commercial Gas Engineer Bristol | £45,000 – £51,000 per annum | Permanent Sora Recruitment are currently working with an established and growing building services company who are looking for an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified Commercial Gas Engineer looking for a stable, long-term position with a company that values its engineers and offers excellent opportunities for progression. The Role As a Commercial Gas Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance, reactive repairs, servicing and installation works across a range of commercial sites throughout Bristol and the surrounding areas. You will work closely with clients and site teams, ensuring all works are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard. Key Responsibilities * Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on commercial gas systems * Complete planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive works * Diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs * Work on commercial boilers, heating systems and associated plant * Complete gas safety checks and ensure equipment is operating safely * Carry out installation and replacement works where required * Complete job sheets and relevant documentation accurately * Liaise professionally with customers, clients and site teams * Ensure all work complies with current health & safety and gas regulations * Work independently while maintaining a high standard of workmanship The Ideal Candidate The successful candidate will have: * Commercial Gas qualifications / ACS * Relevant experience working as a Commercial Gas Engineer * Strong knowledge of commercial heating and boiler systems * Experience with servicing, fault finding and reactive maintenance * Good understanding of current gas safety regulations * Full UK driving licence * Excellent customer service and communication skills * Ability to work independently and manage your own workload * A professional attitude with a strong focus on quality and safety Salary & Benefits 💷 £45,000 – £51,000 per annum * Permanent position * Full-time hours * Bristol-based / covering Bristol and surrounding areas * Company vehicle * Opportunities for overtime * Ongoing training and development * Long-term career progression * Working with an established and supportive team Apply Today If you're an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer looking for your next permanent opportunity in Bristol, we'd love to hear from you. 📞 Contact Sora Recruitment today to discuss the role and arrange a confidential conversation
