About the Company:

This is a small, family-originated IFA business with a close-knit office of six employees, including two advisors, two paraplanners, an administrator, and a practice manager. The company values flexibility, hard work, and team collaboration, seeking individuals who can make a meaningful contribution and fit in with the existing team culture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Providing comprehensive paraplanning support to financial advisers
• Producing suitability reports and technical research (in collaboration with outsourced paraplanning where applicable)
• Preparing financial planning recommendations across pensions, investments, and protection
• Liaising with clients and supporting client meetings
• Attending client meetings where required and assisting with follow-ups
• Taking detailed meeting minutes and tracking action points
• Supporting new business initiatives and case progression
• Conducting technical research and product comparisons
• Working across Intelligent Office (IO) and Voyant platforms

What We’re Looking For:

• Experienced and well-qualified Paraplanner within financial services
• Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (or commitment to achieve this if not yet fully qualified)
• Strong technical knowledge across financial planning areas
• Flexible and adaptable team player
• Local to South East London (SE3) or nearby
• Available for full-time hours (9–5, Monday–Friday), with openness to part-time arrangements

Desirable Skills:

• Strong client liaison and communication skills
• Experience attending and supporting client meetings
• Ability to produce clear, accurate meeting notes and action points
• Proficiency in IO and Voyant platforms
• Previous experience within an IFA environment
