Working Site Manager – Retail Fit-Out & Shopfitting Location: East Midlands Employment Type: Full-Time Shifts: Day & Night Work Required We are seeking experienced Working Supervisors to join our growing team, delivering high-quality retail fit-out, refurbishment, and new store build projects across the East Midlands. This is a hands-on leadership role, ideally suited to someone with a strong shopfitting, interiors, or retail fit-out background who is comfortable supervising site operations while actively contributing to the work on site. You will play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest standards. We have a steady pipeline of work and are looking for supervisors to join us on a long-term basis, with ongoing opportunities for training, development, and career progression. Key Responsibilities * Lead and supervise retail fit-out and shopfitting projects on site * Take a hands-on approach while managing daily site operations * Coordinate works to ensure programmes and project timelines are achieved * Maintain high standards of Health & Safety and ensure full compliance with company procedures * Manage subcontractors, labour, and site logistics * Liaise professionally with clients, store managers, and project stakeholders * Organise site deliveries and oversee the sequencing of works * Monitor workmanship and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle Requirements * Proven experience within shopfitting, retail fit-out, or interior refurbishment * Strong background in internal construction and finishing trades preferred * SMSTS or SSSTS certification essential * Excellent communication and client-facing skills * Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail * Good understanding of Health & Safety legislation and site management * Full driving licence and own van required What We Offer * Long-term opportunities with a secure and growing business * Continuous training and professional development * Varied and interesting retail construction projects * Supportive team environment * Opportunities for career progression If you are a motivated Working Supervisor with a passion for delivering quality retail projects and leading teams on site, we would like to hear from you
