We are currently recruiting for a Procurement Business Partner on a permanent basis for an expanding business.    Within this role you will provide expert procurement support and advice to 15-20 public sector customers acting as an extension to their Procurement Team.    Your role will involve the following: Act as a trusted partner and procurement advisor Build strong relationship with your customers and offer strategic advice. Understand clients’ strategic priorities, budgets, commercial objectives and future procurement requirements Develop forward procurement pipelines and identify opportunities as early as possible Provide advice on procurement approaches, routes to market and commercial strategy Lead and support complex procurement projects, competitions and sourcing activity Conduct regular client account reviews and procurement pipeline planning sessions Work collaboratively with colleagues across Operational Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, Legal and Finance Manage multiple client relationships, procurement projects and priorities simultaneously Maintain strong knowledge of public sector procurement legislation, governance and best practice    The ideal candidate will have the following experience, skills and attributes Strong experience within procurement, commercial management or category management Experience working within or supporting public sector organisations Good understanding of public sector procurement processes, governance and routes to market Experience managing complex procurement projects, tenders or competitions Strong client and stakeholder relationship management skills Confidence communicating with and influencing senior stakeholders Experience managing multiple clients, projects or workstreams simultaneously Strong commercial awareness with the ability to identify opportunities for account growth Excellent communication and interpersonal skills A proactive, accountable and solutions-focused approach Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage your workload effectively Experience working with Central Government, Defence, Local Government, Housing Associations, NHS organisations, Blue Light Services or Higher Education would be particularly valuable.    If this roles sounds of interest please apply immediately for consideration.
