Account Executive - Rapid-growth FinTech / SaaS - London / Hybrid - Competitive Salary and Uncapped OTE

We have an incredible opportunity available for a successful Account Executive, with experience gained in FinTech / SaaS, to join an immediately successful fintech startup in London.

This is the perfect opportunity for a highly motivated and commercially astute Account Executive, with demonstrable success in a similar organisation, to join an ambitious and rapidly growing fintech business at an exciting stage of its journey.

You will proactively own the full cycle, from qualified opportunities to signed contracts. Buyers are Heads of Finance and CFOs of large enterprises, and your focus will predominantly be net-new logos.

Working closely with the Growth/Sales and Product teams, you will be responsible for managing opportunities throughout the sales cycle, from qualified discovery through to negotiation and close, helping to drive revenue growth and expand the company's client base.

This is a hybrid role with 3-4 days per week required in the London office.

The Role:

As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for converting qualified opportunities into long-term clients, building strong relationships with key decision-makers and demonstrating the value of the company's innovative fintech SaaS solution.

You will work closely with Growth Representatives (BDRs) to develop pipeline opportunities, conduct discovery meetings and product demonstrations, understand client challenges and deliver tailored solutions that meet their needs.

We're therefore looking for an individual with excellent consultative selling skills, strong relationship-building abilities and previous success selling SaaS or fintech solutions.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Managing the sales process from qualified lead through to close
• Conducting discovery calls to understand client requirements, challenges and objectives
• Delivering engaging product demos and presentations to prospective clients
• Building relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers across target organisations
• Building and developing tailored proposals and commercial structures, negotiating to close
• Building and maintaining a high-quality sales pipeline
• Maintaining tight and accurate sales forecasts and CRM records
• Representing the company at client meetings, networking events, trade shows and industry exhibitions
• Consistently hitting and exceeding targets and KPIs

What we’re looking for:

• Proven track record closing B2B SaaS deals, ideally in FinTech, Treasury Tech, ERP or accounting software
• Experience selling to CFOs, treasurers or senior finance stakeholders
• Understanding of corporate finance, cash flow, or treasury functions – enough to be credible in the room
• Ability to articulate the value proposition of a fintech SaaS solution clearly and persuasively
• Proven track record of managing opportunities through the full sales cycle and consistently achieving sales targets
• Strong consultative and solution-led sales approach with a hunter mentality and proactive pipeline building expertise
• Experience conducting discovery meetings, product demos and stakeholder presentations
• Strong negotiation and closing skills
• Strong commercial awareness and business acumen
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, rapid-growth environment, where the playbook is still being written
