About the company

An established national advisory firm is looking for an organised and proactive Office Manager / Business Support professional to join its Norwich office.

The firm supports businesses through complex financial and commercial situations, providing specialist advice to clients ranging from smaller enterprises to multinational organisations.

The role

You will ensure the smooth day-to-day running of an office of more than 25 people, while providing administrative and organisational support to local partners and colleagues across East Anglia.

Combining office management, client service and business development support, this is a varied, hands-on position for someone who enjoys taking responsibility and managing competing priorities.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage front of house, telephone enquiries, post, couriers and general office administration.
  • Maintain welcoming, well-presented reception, meeting rooms and shared spaces.
  • Coordinate office supplies, stationery, kitchen stock and external suppliers.
  • Organise internal and external meetings, including room bookings, virtual arrangements, agendas, minutes and action tracking.
  • Support partners and colleagues with correspondence, reports, presentations and deadline management.
  • Assist with billing administration, invoices, expenses and client-related processes.
  • Support client onboarding, including file openings, anti-money laundering checks and conflict checks where required.
  • Maintain CRM records and contact databases.
  • Coordinate client hospitality, marketing activity, events and business development support.
  • Undertake first aid and fire marshal responsibilities as required.

Experience and skills

  • Significant experience in office management or workplace administration, including office operations and supplier coordination.
  • Experience supporting senior stakeholders and wider teams, ideally within professional services.
  • Excellent organisation, time management and attention to detail.
  • Clear, confident written and verbal communication.
  • Strong Microsoft 365 skills, particularly Outlook, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work independently, use initiative and respond calmly to changing priorities.
  • A professional, approachable manner and discretion when handling confidential information.

Experience with CRM systems, document management platforms, events or business development support would be advantageous. Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics, Teams, SharePoint and Copilot is desirable.

Working environment

You will join a collaborative professional support team within a firm that values clear communication, practical solutions and an approachable working style. The business invests in learning and development and is committed to equal opportunities and an inclusive workplace.
