Early Years SEN Teaching Assistant - Doncaster

Reed Education are currently recruiting for a dedicated and nurturing Early Years SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Doncaster after October half-term.

This rewarding role involves supporting children within EYFS who have additional needs, including pupils who are non-verbal and require personal care support throughout the school day. The successful candidate will be patient, compassionate, and passionate about helping young children reach their full potential.

The Role:

• Providing 1:1 and small group support within an Early Years setting
• Supporting children with complex SEN needs, including non-verbal learners
• Assisting with personal care when required
• Encouraging communication, engagement, and social development
• Working closely with teaching staff, SENCOs, and external professionals
• Creating a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment

What We're Looking For:

• Previous experience supporting children with SEN in an EYFS setting
• Experience working with non-verbal children
• Comfortable providing personal care support
• Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
• A caring, patient, and nurturing approach
• Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
