Due to the award of a new 4-year contract supporting Sizewell C, we're recruiting multiple TIG Pipe Welders to join a specialist manufacturing facility in Deeside. You'll be working on high-quality stainless steel and carbon steel pipework, with premium overtime rates, an uncapped bonus scheme and a 12:30pm finish every Friday! Experience welding pipe diameters from 2" upwards. Ability to read engineering drawings and follow Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS). Previous coded welding experience or the ability to pass a coding test. Experience producing high-quality welds suitable for inspection and NDT. Previous experience within Nuclear, Oil & Gas, Pharmaceutical, Food or similar industries would be advantageous. No previous nuclear experience? Not a problem! We're interested in skilled TIG Pipe Welders from a range of industries. Welding Assessment Candidates will complete a 6G TIG weld test on 2" stainless steel pipe, with a WPS provided on the day. Please note: Although the test is completed in 6G, production welding is primarily carried out in the PA (1G) rotated position.
