With capacity for up to 1,000 cars on site and a workforce of approximately 60-70 colleagues, this is a substantial automotive retail operation offering genuine scope to make your mark. You'll have full P&L responsibility for the entire site, with the opportunity to recruit, develop and lead your own management team. We're looking for a commercially driven automotive leader who knows how to manage a large team, drive performance and turn an ambitious new operation into a high-performing business. The Role Take full ownership of the site's P&L, profitability, budgets and overall commercial performance. Build the business from the ground up, recruiting the right people and establishing the structure, culture and processes required for success. Develop and lead a workforce of approximately 60-70 colleagues across the operation. Recruit, coach and develop departmental managers, creating a strong and accountable leadership team. Drive sales performance, vehicle stock turn, margin, ageing stock and trade disposals. Establish operational processes and standards to support a high-volume site holding up to 1,000 vehicles. Deliver an outstanding customer experience, driving customer satisfaction, reputation and repeat business. Maintain the highest standards of FCA compliance, health and safety and operational governance. Monitor KPIs, identify opportunities for improvement and ensure accountability across every department. Create a positive, performance-driven culture focused on results, customer service and colleague development.About You Proven experience in a senior automotive retail leadership role, such as Head of Business, Dealer Principal, General Manager or equivalent. High-volume automotive retail experience is strongly preferred. Experience managing large teams is essential, ideally through departmental managers and wider management structures. Strong commercial awareness and a proven track record of delivering profitable business performance. Experience managing full P&L responsibility across a dealership or comparable automotive retail operation. The ability to recruit, build and develop a team while establishing standards and processes from day one. A hands-on, commercially focused leader who can set direction, motivate people and drive accountability. Confident balancing the bigger business picture with the day-to-day demands of a busy operation.
