Maintenance Surveyor (Contract) 📍 Worcester ⏳ 12-Month Contract 💷 £35-£40 per hour or (Apply online only) per day We're working with a local authority seeking an experienced Maintenance Surveyor to support the management and maintenance of a diverse residential property portfolio, including temporary accommodation and housing stock. Reporting into the Head of Property & Asset Management, you'll be responsible for ensuring homes remain safe, compliant, and maintained to a high standard. Key Responsibilities * Conduct property inspections and condition surveys * Diagnose building defects and specify remedial works * Manage repairs, maintenance and improvement projects * Monitor contractor performance and quality of works * Ensure compliance with statutory and housing regulations * Support the ongoing management of residential assets Requirements * Experience as a Building Surveyor, Maintenance Surveyor, Property Surveyor or Asset Surveyor * Strong knowledge of building defects, repairs and maintenance * Experience overseeing contractors and planned maintenance works * Understanding of housing compliance and residential property standards * Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Contract Details * 12-month initial contract * Hybrid working available * Local authority environment
