HGV Class 1 Night Trunking

Temp to Perm | £19 per hour | £45,500 per year

A&G Resourcing Ltd is recruiting on behalf of a well-established client based in Reading for an experienced HGV Class 1 Night Driver.

This is a temp-to-perm opportunity offering regular Monday to Friday night trunking and a clear route into permanent employment.

The Role

• Night trunking between the depot and the hub, returning to the depot
• No multi-drop deliveries
• No manual handling – trunking only
• Completing vehicle checks and relevant paperwork
• Ensuring all journeys are completed safely and professionally

Working Pattern

• Monday to Friday nights
• No weekends
• No Bank Holidays
• Christmas and Easter always off

Pay & Benefits

Temporary Period

• £19.00 per hour

Permanent Position

• £45,500 per year
• Regular Monday to Friday night work
• No weekends or Bank Holidays
• Christmas and Easter always off

Requirements

• Valid HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) licence
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph card
• A minimum 6months HGV Class 1 driving experience
• Professional, reliable and safety-conscious attitude
