Are you an experienced Workshop Manager / Fleet Maintenance Manager / Depot Manager, looking to take charge of a busy commercial vehicle workshop? We’re recruiting a Workshop Manager / Fleet Maintenance Manager / Depot Manager for an established commercial vehicle rental business in West London. You’ll manage daily workshop operations, support your technicians and keep a fleet of refrigerated commercial vehicles safe, reliable and ready for work.   The role of Workshop Manager / Fleet Maintenance Manager / Depot Manager Lead, organise and support the workshop team. Plan servicing, inspections, maintenance and repairs. Allocate jobs effectively and monitor work quality. Reduce vehicle downtime and resolve recurring defects. Maintain compliance standards and accurate maintenance records. Manage repair costs, parts requirements and suppliers. Keep depot teams informed of repair progress and vehicle availability. Maintain a safe, organised and productive workshop.  What the ideal Workshop Manager / Fleet Maintenance Manager / Depot Manager would need Experience managing or supervising a commercial vehicle workshop. A strong background in HGV or fleet maintenance. Knowledge of vehicle maintenance compliance and workshop safety. The ability to manage people, workloads and competing priorities. Good communication, organisation and cost control skills. Refrigerated vehicle experience would be an advantage.This role could suit an HGV Workshop Manager, Fleet Maintenance Manager or Workshop Supervisor ready for the next step.
