Primary Teacher - Year 4

Location: Lambeth, South London (near Streatham Common)
Start Date: January 2027
Contract: Full-time, long-term
Salary: Inner London MPS/UPS, dependent on experience

Reeson Education is working with a welcoming primary school in Lambeth, close to Streatham Common, to recruit a committed Year 4 Teacher for a January 2027 start.

The Role

• Take responsibility for the teaching and learning of a Year 4 class.

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons across the primary curriculum.

• Adapt teaching to meet the needs and abilities of all pupils.

• Monitor progress, assess learning and provide effective feedback.

• Create a positive, inclusive classroom where pupils feel safe, supported and motivated.

• Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff and parents to help pupils achieve their potential.

The Ideal Candidate

• Holds QTS and has experience teaching in a UK primary school.

• Has a good understanding of the Key Stage 2 curriculum.

• Can establish positive relationships and maintain high expectations for behaviour and learning.

• Uses creative and effective teaching approaches to engage pupils.

• Is organised, reflective and committed to helping every child make progress.
