Own transport required due to the office location

We’re working with a growing fuel solutions business looking to recruit Telesales Executives for its Essex office.

Previous fuel industry experience isn’t essential. If you have strong sales or telesales experience, enjoy winning new business and are confident picking up the phone, we’d like to hear from you.

The business operates across a number of established fuel brands and provides a range of commercial fuel solutions, including fuel cards, bulk fuel, delivery services and fuel cost management solutions to customers across the UK.

Customers include businesses operating within transport, logistics, construction, plant hire, commercial fleets and other fuel-intensive sectors.

The Role

• Winning new business through outbound calls, prospecting and relationship building
• Selling fuel cards, bulk fuel and associated fuel solutions
• Managing the sales process from initial contact through to close
• Building relationships with business owners, fleet managers and procurement teams
• Identifying opportunities to grow existing accounts
• Understanding customer fuel usage and identifying suitable solutions
• Working towards sales targets
• Maintaining an accurate CRM pipeline and following up opportunities effectively

What We’re Looking For

• At least one year of strong sales, telesales or business development experience, ideally within B2B
• Confident telephone communication
• Strong objection-handling and closing skills
• A motivated and target-focused approach
• The ability to build rapport quickly and develop strong customer relationships
• Confidence working within a busy outbound sales environment
• Good organisation and follow-up skills
• Own transport is essential due to the location of the office

Experience within fuel cards, bulk fuel, fleet services, energy or a similar commercial sales environment would be advantageous, but is not essential.
