HGV Class 1 (C+E) Driver

Location: Dunton, Billericay

Salary: £45,000 per annum (based on a 50-hour working week)

Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday – 19:00 starts

The Opportunity

We are currently recruiting experienced and reliable HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers to join a well-established logistics operation based in Dunton, Billericay.

This is an excellent opportunity for drivers looking for consistent Monday-to-Friday work, competitive earnings and the potential to secure a permanent position.

The role involves scheduled trunking runs between the site and a Birmingham hub. There are no store deliveries or multi-drop requirements, making this a straightforward trunking position.

The Role

As an HGV Class 1 Driver, your responsibilities will include:

• Completing scheduled trunking runs between Dunton and the Birmingham hub.
• Ensuring deliveries and collections are completed safely and on time.
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects.
• Maintaining accurate driving and tachograph records.
• Following all relevant road safety, driving hours and company procedures.
• Representing the business professionally at all times.

What We're Looking For

To be considered for this position, you will need:

• A valid HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) licence.
• A valid Driver CPC qualification.
• A valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• Previous Class 1 driving experience (preferred).
• Good communication skills.
• A reliable, professional and safety-conscious attitude.
