Plant Manager (Operations / Maintenance / Reliability) - Conventional Power / Wind / Solar Location: Remote UK Role Type: Permanent Key Responsibilities Provide risk management advice through effective and objective communication, including evaluation of risk exposures and provision of loss estimates. Develop and implement tools to deliver the best possible solutions for controlling and reducing financial risk, focusing on knowledge, efficiency, and cost effectiveness. Maintain and develop continuous professional engineering knowledge and resources within areas of expertise. Enhance communication effectiveness and management relationships to maintain credibility as a leading professional and ethical insurer to clients, brokers, and the insurance market. Develop and prioritise objectives for performing visits within technical risk management programmes in collaboration with underwriters and insureds' management and brokers. Foster a continuous improvement philosophy within the team and workflow management. Expand knowledge beyond core expertise to support underwriting and claims functions through education and training. Requirements More than ten years of hands-on engineering experience, primarily in power generation for large and complex projects, with progressive responsibility. Insurance engineering experience with a recognised lead insurer or reinsurer is beneficial but not essential. Excellent communication and negotiating skills. Ability to work independently and as an effective team member
