JOB TITLE: Care and Support Worker EMPLOYER: Client through his financial deputy SUPERVISED/MANAGED BY: Case Manager LOCATION: Edgware HA8 PAY: Minimum of £18 per hour dependent on experience HOURS: You will work 12-hour shifts. Minimum of 24 hours per week. But you will need to be able to work flexibly and cover for illness/holiday of the other support workers. _______________________________________________________________________  JOB PURPOSE An exciting opportunity has become available to support a delightful young man in his home. You will work as part of a team and care is provided 2:1. Your role will involve, attending to their personal care needs, assisting with mobility and transfers and supporting with clinical tasks, including management of a PEG feeding tube You will work according to the support plan. _______________________________________________________________________ PRACTICAL RESPONSIBILITIES To be able work within the client’s home, and as part of a team. To be able to follow instructions/guidelines. To be versatile in approach, energetic and affable. To provide physical assistance for transfers and personal care. _______________________________________________________________________ ADMINISTRATIVE RESPONSIBILITIES To complete written support worker notes To develop and maintain effective communication with the client, their family and the team. To be available for regular supervision.
