This is an excellent opportunity for someone with prior audit experience in practice who is working towards their ACA or ACCA qualification and is looking for exposure to a varied client portfolio.

The Role

Working closely with Audit Seniors and Managers, you will support the delivery of audit assignments for a diverse range of clients across multiple sectors.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting with audit planning and fieldwork assignments
• Preparing audit files and working papers
• Drafting statutory accounts and financial statements
• Identifying audit issues and communicating findings to senior team members
• Liaising directly with clients and maintaining professional relationships
• Assisting with accounts preparation and related assignments where required
• Ensuring work is completed accurately and within deadlines
• Supporting and mentoring junior team members

About You

To be considered for this role, you will have:

• Previous experience working within an accountancy practice
• Experience assisting on audit assignments
• AAT qualified or currently studying ACA/ACCA
• Strong technical and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
• A positive attitude and strong desire to progress within audit
