Our client, a specialist organisation within the water and civil engineering sector, is seeking a Senior CAD Technician to support the delivery of infrastructure and utilities projects in Manchester. This contract opportunity offers hybrid working for the right person and is expected to commence in December or January. Key Responsibilities: Producing and updating detailed civil engineering drawings using Civil 3D and CAD software Preparing technical drawings and plans for water and civil engineering projects Working from engineering specifications, surveys and design information Collaborating with civil engineers, designers and project stakeholders to develop accurate drawings Checking drawings for accuracy, compliance and consistency with project requirements Maintaining drawing registers, revisions and associated technical documentation Supporting the delivery of projects from concept through to construction Job Requirements: Significant experience as a CAD Technician within the civil engineering or water sector Strong proficiency in Civil 3D and computer-aided design software Good understanding of civil engineering principles, infrastructure design and technical drawing standards Experience producing accurate 2D and 3D drawings for engineering projects Ability to interpret engineering designs, specifications and survey information Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to design documentation Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams Availability to work on a contract basis in Manchester, with hybrid working available for the right individual Additional Information: Contract position based in Manchester Hybrid working arrangement available for the right person Expected start in December or January Engagement outside IR35 If you are an experienced Senior CAD Technician with strong Civil 3D and civil engineering expertise, apply now to support important water and infrastructure projects with Our client
