As Corporate Counsel, you will handle corporate legal work for a Life Science organisation and help keep key business activity on track. You will work within the Legal department, providing clear advice that supports informed decisions across the business.

Description

• Provide practical corporate legal advice to support business decisions and day-to-day activity.
• Review and draft corporate documents to help maintain clear and accurate records.
• Work with colleagues across the business to understand legal requirements and provide timely guidance.
• Support corporate transactions and related documentation through the agreed legal process.
• Identify legal considerations in proposed business activity and explain them in clear terms.
• Manage legal documents and information to ensure they are organised and accessible.
• Coordinate with external legal advisers where required to progress corporate matters.

Profile

A successful Corporate Counsel should have:

• Experience providing corporate legal advice in a commercial setting.
• Ability to draft, review and negotiate corporate legal documentation.
• Knowledge of corporate transactions and associated legal processes.
• Ability to explain legal issues clearly to non-legal colleagues.
• Experience working with a range of internal stakeholders on legal matters.
• Strong document management skills and attention to detail.

Job Offer

• 12-month fixed-term contract.
• Salary of £140,000 to £180,000 dependent on the level of experience.
• Based in Oxfordshire.
