The Role

As a Maths Teacher, you will:

• Deliver engaging and inspiring Maths lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
• Plan, prepare and assess student work to support progress and attainment
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Develop students' confidence and mathematical understanding
• Contribute to the wider life of the school and Maths department

The Ideal Candidate

The school would ideally like to appoint a teacher who holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). However, they are also keen to hear from candidates who may not hold QTS but have significant UK secondary Maths teaching experience and a strong track record of delivering excellent lessons and student outcomes.

You will have:

• Experience teaching Maths within UK secondary schools
• Strong classroom management skills
• A genuine passion for Mathematics and education
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• The ability to challenge, motivate and inspire students of all abilities
