This is an exciting opportunity to join a financial services business undergoing a major technology transformation. You'll work on modern internal platforms using Laravel and Vue.js, with the chance to contribute to greenfield development while helping shape engineering standards and best practices.

THE COMPANY

This is a growth hire within a collaborative development team, offering the opportunity to make a genuine impact.

THE ROLE

• Develop and enhance functionality across modern PHP/Laravel applications
• Contribute to a greenfield platform while modernising existing systems and reducing technical debt
• Build APIs, integrations and user-facing functionality alongside developers, QA and business stakeholders
• Play a key role in technical discussions, code quality, architecture decisions and continuous improvement initiatives

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Commercial experience developing applications with PHP and Laravel
• Strong JavaScript skills, ideally with exposure to Vue.js
• Experience working with APIs, relational databases and object-oriented programming principles
• Experience maintaining existing applications and working within collaborative development environments
• Exposure to Docker, CI/CD, Inertia.js, Redis or authentication technologies would be advantageous

SALARY AND BENEFITS
