As an Assistant Management Accountant in Bournemouth, you will help keep financial reporting accurate and support the day-to-day work of the Accounting & Finance team. You will work with financial information to help the business make clear, informed decisions.

Our client is based in Bournemouth, and due to a busy period and various ongoing projects, the team is looking for additional support.

Description

• Prepare and maintain accurate management accounts information to support regular reporting.
• Review financial data and resolve discrepancies to keep records reliable and up to date.
• Support the preparation of budgets and forecasts using available financial information.
• Produce reports that give colleagues clear insight into financial performance.
• Assist with month-end activities to ensure reporting deadlines are met.
• Maintain financial records and supporting documentation in an organised manner.
• Work closely with the Accounting & Finance team to respond to routine finance queries.

Profile

A successful Assistant Management Accountant should have:

• Experience preparing and reviewing financial information.
• Confidence working with management accounts and financial reports.
• Ability to identify and investigate differences in financial data.
• Experience supporting budgeting and forecasting activity.
• Strong numerical skills and careful attention to financial detail.
• Ability to organise records and manage tasks to agreed deadlines.

Job Offer

• Permanent Assistant Management Accountant position based in Bournemouth.
• Salary of £28,000 to £31,000 dependent on the level of experience.
