Import & Export Coordinator Hams Hall, Birmingham Monday - Friday 08:30 - 16:30 up to £33,000 plus benefits, excellent company culture Your objective will be to support the efficient movement of goods, ensuring all import and export documentation is completed accurately and on time, and maintaining effective communication with customers, suppliers, carriers and customs representatives. You will be joining a growing team within a new location for the business. Job role / duties Daily use of ASM Sequoia, customs clearance site as well as Destin8 & CNS Claim UCN's, track containers and trailers and freight management Prepare and process import and export documentation. Coordinate shipments with hauliers, freight forwarders, carriers, suppliers and customers. Assist with customs clearance and ensure documentation meets all relevant requirements. Monitor and track shipments, providing timely updates where required. Check the accuracy of commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading and related paperwork. Maintain accurate records of shipments and customs documentation. Liaise with internal departments to ensure the smooth movement of goods. Investigate and resolve delivery, documentation and shipment issues. Ensure all import and export procedures comply with company policies and applicable regulations. To be considered for this role you MUST: Have previous experience using ASM Sequoia as well as Destin8 & CNS Be highly experienced in import and export, freight forwarding, customs, shipping and logistics Possess excellent attention to detail and strong administrative skills Be an excellent written and verbal communicator.
