A well-established and highly regarded law firm is looking to strengthen its Family Law team in Lincoln with the appointment of a Family Solicitor or Legal Executive. While the ideal candidate will be NQ to 3 years PQE, applications are welcomed from professionals with a broader range of experience, provided they are confident managing their own caseload independently.

The Opportunity

The role offers you exposure to a varied and high-quality caseload, with a particular focus on financial matters arising from relationship breakdown and disputes involving children.

As the successful candidate, you will advise and represent clients across a broad range of family law matters, including:

• Divorce and financial settlements
• Financial remedy proceedings
• High-net-worth financial cases
• Separation agreements
• Pre-nuptial and post-nuptial agreements
• Cohabitation agreements
• Private children matters
• Court representation and advocacy
• Client relationship management from instruction through to conclusion

Working within a respected Family Law department, you will have the opportunity to develop your specialist expertise while building a strong reputation within the local legal market.

About You

The firm is seeking a motivated and client-focused individual who combines strong technical ability with excellent interpersonal skills.

You will:

• Be a Solicitor, Legal Executive or similarly qualified professional
• Have experience working within a Family Law department
• Be capable of managing your own caseload with appropriate supervision
• Have a genuine interest in specialising in financial aspects of family law
• Demonstrate excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Be highly organised with strong file and diary management abilities
• Thrive in a busy environment and work effectively to deadlines
• Hold, or be willing to work towards, relevant Law Society and/or Resolution accreditations
• Possess a full UK driving licence
