Finance Manager

The Opportunity

Robert Half is partnering with a growing international manufacturing and production business to recruit a Finance Manager. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on finance professional to take ownership of the finance function, support business performance and contribute to the continued growth of the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the full accounting cycle, including month-end accounts, management reporting, reconciliations, accruals and prepayments.
• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, VAT returns and payroll accounting.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management, providing financial insight to support business performance.
• Monitor production costs, stock movements and cost allocations, working closely with operational and production teams.
• Support statutory audits, financial controls and compliance, while identifying opportunities to improve accounting processes, systems and procedures.

The Ideal Candidate

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified, with a minimum of three years' accounting experience within a manufacturing, production or FMCG environment.
• Strong technical knowledge of UK accounting standards, statutory requirements and the full accounting cycle.
• Practical experience of management accounts, stock accounting, production costing and operational finance processes.
• Confident using financial systems, with Sage Intacct experience advantageous, alongside strong Excel and analytical skills.
• A proactive, hands-on and organised individual with the ability to work autonomously, manage priorities, lead and develop a team, and engage confidently with stakeholders.
