Commercial Finance Analyst£60,000 + Bonus + BenefitsTheale | Hybrid Working (3 Days in Office)My client is seeking a commercially minded Commercial Finance Analyst to join its growing finance team in Theale. This is an excellent opportunity for a part-qualified or newly qualified accountant looking to develop their commercial finance career within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
The RoleReporting to the Finance Manager, you will play a key role in delivering insightful financial analysis, supporting budgeting and forecasting cycles, and partnering with stakeholders across the business to drive performance and improve decision-making.You'll be responsible for analysing costs, identifying efficiencies, producing meaningful management information, and challenging assumptions to support business growth and value creation.
Key Responsibilities

• Produce regular management reports, KPIs and performance analysis for key stakeholders.
• Analyse overhead expenditure, identifying trends, risks and opportunities
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes across the business.
• Develop and enhance financial models to improve forecasting accuracy.
• Deliver commercial insight and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
• Complete month-end activities including journals, accruals, prepayments and reconciliations.
• Drive reporting improvements and automation using tools such as Power BI.
• Partner with stakeholders across the business to identify cost-saving and efficiency opportunities.

About You

• Part-qualified or newly qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA.
• Strong commercial acumen with a passion for adding value.
• Excellent analytical and financial modelling skills.
• Ability to influence and challenge stakeholders effectively.
• Strong communicator with a proactive and collaborative approach.
• Experience with Power BI or financial reporting tools would be advantageous.
